What We Do:

WildTide provides the opportunity for girls and boys to play lacrosse - ranging from the first time you hold a stick to support for college recruitment. We are committed to the growth of lacrosse in Brunswick County, NC.

To support youth lacrosse players, empowering well-rounded individuals who strengthen our community with the skills and lessons for success in life.

Who We Are:

WildTide is the premier youth travel lacrosse organization for Brunswick County, North Carolina serving as a part of the Brunswick County Youth Council, a 501(3)c nonprofit organization.

Age Groups We Support:

Currently we have opportunities for High School Girls and Boys, Middle School Girls and Boys, Development Girls K-4, and Boys Developmental K-6.

Where we came from.

In 2018, founders Anne Dotson, Brandie Price, Maryann Dolan and Rebecca Allen partnered with nonprofit Brunswick County Youth Council 501(c)3 to form WildTide as a place for young athletes to not just learn this amazing sport, but learn valuable life skills - such as teamwork, time management, the importance of working towards goals, community engagement and much more.

Originally, our program started as a Middle School Girls Team, but over the years we have grown to now encompass those in Middle School, High School, and Developmental Program for both young ladies and young men in and around our county.

In 2020 we had our first group of graduating seniors, and since that year we have helped over a dozen players earn scholarship opportunities to continue not only their lacrosse career, but their education.

We believe in “Recycling Lacrosse” - so we have a number of former players who return to assist coaching so that our younger generation can see the older generation of players and hear from them and gain knowledge of what it takes to get to the next level.

At WildTide we not only believe in building the team, but building the individual. We want all of our players to have the confidence to navigate the world ahead of them.
